About the Role

Founding GTM Manager

📍 Stockholm or Gothenburg

Salary: 70 000 SEK OTE

 

I'm currently partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing fintech business that is looking to hire its first commercial hire.

 

This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and take ownership of the entire go-to-market function. You'll be responsible for winning new customers, shaping the sales process, refining messaging, and helping build the commercial foundations of the business.

The Opportunity

As the Founding GTM Manager, you'll own the complete customer acquisition journey.

From identifying prospects and opening conversations through to discovery, commercial negotiations and closing deals, you'll be the driving force behind revenue growth.

You'll work closely with the founders while having significant autonomy to build and improve how sales are done.

 

What You'll Be Doing

• Building pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking

• Engaging founders, CEOs and business leaders in meaningful commercial conversations

• Running discovery meetings and consultative sales processes

• Presenting the platform and value proposition to prospective customers

• Negotiating and closing new business opportunities

• Helping shape the company's sales playbook, messaging and GTM strategy

• Creating scalable processes that support future growth

 

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B sales

• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to close business independently

• Comfortable owning a sales cycle from prospecting through to a signed contract

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build rather than simply execute

• Experience speaking with founders, CEOs and senior decision-makers

• Fluent Swedish and English

 

Nice to Have

• Experience selling complex services, SaaS or financial solutions

• Previous experience as an early commercial hire or founding salesperson

• Experience helping define GTM strategy or sales processes

• Background in finance, accounting or related industries

• Founder experience or experience building something from scratch
