We're partnering with a fast-growing travel technology company that's transforming how organisations manage business travel across the Nordics. Already well established in Sweden, the business is now entering its next phase of growth with an exciting expansion into Denmark.

 

Its proprietary SaaS platform simplifies every stage of the corporate travel experience from booking flights, hotels and ground transport to expense management, reporting and sustainability tracking.

 

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious scale-up as its Founding Account Executive for Denmark.

 

You'll be responsible for launching the Danish market, building a pipeline from scratch and winning new enterprise customers. As the first commercial employee in the country, you'll have significant autonomy, direct access to leadership and genuine influence over how the business grows.

 

This is a true hunter role focused on complex B2B sales, owning the entire sales cycle from prospecting and cold outreach through to negotiation and closing.

 

The role is hybrid and can be based in either Copenhagen or Malmö.

 

Responsibilities

Build the Danish Market

  • Become the company's first commercial representative in Denmark.
  • Build and own a new business pipeline from scratch.
  • Develop relationships with enterprise organisations across Denmark.
  • Generate opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
  • Help shape the sales playbook and go-to-market strategy as the business scales.

New Business Development

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Generate your own opportunities through cold calling, email and outbound prospecting.
  • Book and lead customer meetings.
  • Manage opportunities through to signed contracts.
  • Consistently achieve activity and revenue targets.

Enterprise Sales

  • Navigate complex buying processes involving CFOs, CEOs, HR Directors, Procurement teams, Travel Managers and other senior stakeholders.
  • Identify customer priorities and potential deal blockers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot.
  • Document all customer interactions and pipeline activity.
  • Track sales performance and market insights.
  • Ensure opportunities are progressed and followed up effectively.

 

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys building markets, creating opportunities and winning new business. You'll thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have a proven ability to generate and close complex B2B opportunities.

You'll have:

  • 3+ years' experience in complex B2B sales.
  • A strong background in outbound prospecting and new business development.
  • A proven track record of closing enterprise or corporate customers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Native or fluent Danish and strong English skills (Swedish is advantageous).
  • A self-motivated, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
