🚀 Founding Account Executive
(Remote – NYC Preferred)
180k OTE (50/50)
I’m currently recruiting for a Founding Account Executive role at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup that’s on the verge of disrupting a massive consumer industry. This is a high-trajectory role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make an immediate impact.
The Opportunity
You’ll be stepping into a high-volume inbound sales motion, owning execution from discovery through closing. This is not just a sales role, you’ll work closely with the founding team, contributing to sales strategy, funnel analysis, and process improvements while growing into expanded responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Do
- Own the inbound sales process end-to-end: discovery, follow-up, and closing
- Manage a high volume of inbound sales calls with urgency and professionalism
- Track deals, manage pipeline, and follow up effectively using HubSpot
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing and client success to ensure smooth lead handoffs and excellent customer experience
- Collaborate directly with the cofounders to improve conversion rates and refine sales strategy over time
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years of sales experience, ideally closing deals in B2C or high-volume consultative sales at a startup
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build processes and grow with the role
Compensation & Details
- Base Salary: $160k–$180k
- Equity: Competitive
- Location: Remote (with a slight preference for NYC-based candidates)
- Visa sponsorship available
