A fast-growing European fintech company is revolutionising the way businesses engage with billing and payments by transforming invoices into seamless, customer-friendly experiences. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Dutch-speaking Business Development Representative to join their team in Stockholm.

 

The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a critical role in fuelling the company's growth across core and emerging markets. You'll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to uncover and develop new business opportunities, drive personalised outreach, and contribute to an expanding pipeline.

 

This role is ideal for someone proactive, structured, and motivated by building strong business relationships and driving measurable results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the commercial team to execute outbound strategies and secure high-quality client meetings
  • Design and implement personalised outreach campaigns tailored to potential clients in your assigned territory
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify leads, using data to tailor communications
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to nurture leads, analyse business cases, and explore new industries
  • Represent the company at conferences, events, and networking opportunities
  • Leverage CRM systems (Salesforce) and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha) to manage outreach and engagement

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in business development, outbound prospecting, or consultative sales
  • Demonstrated success in booking meetings and generating pipeline
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Experience engaging with senior decision-makers, particularly in enterprise environments
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and digital prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Full fluency in Dutch and English
